| Water Colors at Winter Solstice |
It's after midnight on this shortest of nights--we await the lunar eclipse--a natural, but rare, astronomical phenomena. We watch her from far away, trying to understand her mysterious ways. And we know it to be a sacred, special time as we stand in awe before our shining moon....and reflect on the images of shining stars so important in our Christmas mysteries. "I wonder as I wander out under the sky... the promise of the ages, it then did recall." "O star of wonder, star of might..."

The longest night of the year is upon us--a full moon brightly shines upon Sevilla, and her flashing solar lights illuminate her small place on Earth.

We wait for the winter sun to warm us once again

We miss our friends and family, and wish all of you to be well, happy, kind and generous as always, and to enjoy this beautiful season whether the you have snow or sunshine. And take time to contemplate the winter moon at her shining, lustrous best. We're loving the warmth of bright, glorious sunshine, and the beautiful vistas of rivers and marshes. We're enjoying the magnificent golf courses in our county--the Champions today, and Hammock Creek tomorrow--as well as the lively social life at our marina.

We wish we could share our sunny days and scenes of brightly lit yachts with you all. I think this one is named Executive Privilege.... No, we haven't been invited aboard.
"Through the years we all will be together if the fates allow.
Hang a shining star upon the highest bow, and have yourself a merry little Christmas now...."
Warm embraces,
Maureen and Glen
