After our two nights at Lake Worth, when we left our slip to go into the harbor, the engine started "missing." Glen said we should have changed both filters, so we hailed the harbormaster, turned around and tied up along a fuel dock where he changed the second one with Brunelle Dan's assistance. It just took a few minutes and we were off and running again toward Lake Boca. Although the sun was shining, it was a chilly 48 and we bundled up. The engine was running smoothly.
Today was definitely "bridges" day. I think we hit our first bridge at 9:40, and there were 14 more to follow on the 6 hour and 45 minute cruise of 23.5 miles. Most of the bridges had standard hour or half hour, or 1/4 before or 3/4 after the hour openings, so we had to wait for quite a few.

We arrived at Boca Lake in mid afternoon. Wonderful soft jazz greeted us, courtesy of a cocktail party at a fabulous home near our anchorage. We kept waiting for them to send the launch for us. Meanwhile, Cap'n Glen set the anchor. We spent the evening admiring the lights on the beautiful buildings surrounding us. An early bedtime ahead to rest for our 7:30 departure. Lots to see tomorrow! On to Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Can't wait.
Hope all is well with you,
Glen and Maureen
